Seedcap has decided to sponsor Nordic Startups, a initiative to start a new accelerator in Stockholm for startups focused on web and mobile.

20 Jan: Andy Cars joins Flispac's board of directors
Flispac has developed a patented wood chipping, compacting and packaging technology for the forestry industry.
Among the investors and stakeholders are the Swedish Energy Agency, Fortum, Sveaskog, Mellanskog,
Skellefteå Kraft and Ponsse.

9 October: Videoplaza is on a roll
At the beginning of 2008 the founders of Videoplaza worked with Andy Cars as part of the CONNECT springboard program. Following the springboard programme Videoplaza has grown to a team of seven people, won Kanal5,
Kanal9 and Bonniers as customers, and have raised Euro 420 000 in financing from Creandum and business
angels Henrik Torstensson (Stardoll) och Magnus Hultman (Omniture). Videoplaza is on a roll and it will be a
pleasure to follow their ongoing development.
1 July: Andy Cars becomes jury member for Venture Cup Venture Cup is a business plan competition with the objective to stimulate entrepreneurship and to increase the founding of new companies in Sweden.
29 May: Seedcap and Skarpa join forces to offer entrepreneurs workshops in company valuation Entrepreneurs seeking capital are often uncertain as to what share of the company to offer in return for the required investment. The purpose of this workshop is to arrive at a reasonable valuation of the entrepreneurs' company based on realistic and relevant assumptions. For more information please contact Seedcap. CONNECT East Sweden assigns Seedcap to maintain, execute and develop products within their organization,
in particular including the CONNECT spring board program.
26 March: Seedcap becomes supplier to ALMI Företagspartner Stockholm.
Since March 2007 Seedcap is supplier of business development to ALMI Innovation Stockholm.
